Meet Sophia

Sophia is a clinical forensic intern currently pursuing her MA in Forensic Psychology. She brings real world experience from residential and correctional mental health settings to her work with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, she provides individual, family, and group therapy using

a client-centered and trauma-informed approach.

She is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and navigate life’s challenges while recognizing the impact of family systems, trauma, and environmental factors on overall well-being. Through evidence-based practices, Sophia helps clients build insight,

develop healthy coping skills, and promote self-compassion.

Sophia has a special interest in supporting individuals and families involved in the legal system,

where she draws on her background in forensic psychology and mental health to provide passionate, individualized support.

In her previous roles, Sophia supported clients navigating complex mental health needs by teaching daily living skills, facilitating psychoeducational groups, providing emotional support, and

responding to crisis situations. These experiences strengthened her ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships while individualizing care to meet each client’s unique strengths, needs, and

goals.

Sophia is committed to creating a warm, culturally sensitive environment where clients feel heard,

respected, and empowered to make meaningful change.
