Meet Ashlee

Ashlee is a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology, 

Professional Counselor Licensure program at The Chicago School. As a clinical forensic intern at AmWell Group PLLC, she works under the supervision of licensed clinicians, gaining experience providing care to individuals, families, and group counseling sessions.


With a background in criminology and psychology, Ashlee is passionate about the intersection of mental health and the legal system. She is committed to providing ethical, culturally responsive care to those experiencing life's most challenging moments.


Ashlee believes that every client deserves to be treated with compassion, understanding, and a growth mindset. She is passionate about supporting clients through both difficult 

circumstances and everyday life challenges, extending beyond forensic work including navigating individuals through life changes, emotional regulation difficulties, family 

conflict and other areas for personal growth.



Ashlee approaches every individual with empathy and respect, recognizing that 

every person’s story is unique to them. She strives to create a welcoming, judgement-free environment where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are and feel 

supported as they explore their experiences, emotions, and goals for meaningful change. She is dedicated to helping clients feel empowered while building coping strategies, 

gaining greater insight into themselves and their experiences, and strengthening their sense of self.
